I actually had some photos from the last download turn out quite nice. Don't know if I'm getting better as a photographer (probably just good luck), but I don't hate my new camera anymore! After looking at DSLR's for over a year, I bought an Olympus Evolt E-510 with two lenses last December. I proceeded to take many terrible pictures--but I kept practicing. I've found that the zoom lens is pretty awesome, so I've been taking that to most of the outdoor events lately. Here's a few shots from the Racine Zoo last weekend and Paige's last t-ball game in July...I love the shadow the chain-length fence made on Paige's back. I also have two really great action shots (have to love that "sports" auto mode), but I didn't want to post them as they weren't just my kids in the photos...
